Every time a pop-up appears
In the bottom right of my screen
I click it!
Quickly read it and start to reply

Type, type, click click
Click click, type type

During lunch break, in the evenings
Still thinking about e-mails!
Ones received, I typed
Those that need typing

My head still stuck inside
The computer screen!

Doing a he-said, she-said “conversation”
In my head
Thinking which information to transfer
To more e-mails tomorrow

Click click, type type
Thinking, thinking and over-thinking!
And here’s a secret I’ll share
I’m even sometimes thinking about work
At night!

Need to break free
And, literally, think outside the box
